Our History

On June 3, 1966, these visionary women charted the Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter.  Since that day, their efforts have led to innumerable acts of selfless public service in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.  Today, over 200 active Las Vegas members carry forth the tradition of encouraging and promoting scholarship, service and social action within our community and on a National and International level.

The Chapter models its programs on Delta’s National Five Point Programmatic Thrust, which focuses on Educational Development, Economic Development, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness and Involvement, and International Awareness and Involvement. Las Vegas Alumnae has been a force for community support, awareness, education, and uplift since its inception.

Its members freely volunteer their time, experience, and financial resources towards making a positive difference for those who are under served or at risk.
